THE ART OF CHAMPAGNE;
OUR HERITAGE.
The origins of C.Garnotel Champagne date back more than 115 years.
Indeed, in 1899, Mr. Louis ADAM founded ADAM Champagne. His son, Remy, succeeded him until the 1960s before passing the business to his only daughter, Annick, who married Dominique Garnotel. From this union, in addition to the birth of two children, Anne and Christophe, the “Adam-Garnotel” brand was established in 1971. Today, the founder’s great-grandson continues to grow the family house under the “C.GARNOTEL” brand.
Since its inception, C.GARNOTEL Champagne has been based in Rilly-la-Montagne. Located halfway between the cities of Reims and Epernay, Rilly-la-Montagne is in the heart of the Montagne de Reims.
Its vineyard, classified as Premier Cru, covers nearly 10 hectares and is composed of the three Champagne grape varieties: 4 hectares of Pinot Meunier, 3 hectares of Pinot Noir, and 3 hectares of Chardonnay.
In addition to this supply, C.GARNOTEL Champagne purchases grapes during the harvest from Champagne winegrowers according to very strict specifications, allowing for the creation of the finest blends for our various cuvées.
Well-established in France with a loyal private clientele, as well as professionals who recognize the quality of its champagne, C.GARNOTEL Champagne has continued to expand internationally and exports nearly 80% of its sales, primarily to Japan, the United States, Italy, Russia, Benelux, Spain, and Switzerland.
